On October 27th, an NMUSD father of five was kidnapped by ICE after being mistaken for someone else. Even after it became clear he was not the person they were looking for, ICE took him anyway. He was later transferred to Adelanto. Neither he nor the person ICE was looking for deserved to be taken from their families.

He is a hardworking union carpenter and has been the main provider for his family for 25 years. Both parents are well known in their children’s schools, where they regularly volunteer and help wherever they can. His wife and children now need help covering rent, bills, and legal fees while he remains detained.
