On October 30, ICE showed up at Elmwood Correctional Facility with at least 8 agents in 5 cars, targeting people as they were released from custody. They tried at least three times to swarm releasees and take them away.

Not a single releasee was detained by ICE. Our neighbors got home safely because people showed up and protected one another.

As their attempts failed, agents escalated their aggression—then seized a legal observer. Retaliation is meant to scare us into staying home but we will keep showing up!!
