Over the past year, the unlawful stripping of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) has led to family separation, instability, deportations to a country in crisis, and removals of Venezuelan TPS holders to countries where they have no family or friends.

We have asked a federal appeals court to allow a 2025 district court ruling to take effect. This would restore TPS for an estimated 600,000 Venezuelans who face life or death consequences under the Trump administration’s policies.
