Isaac just graduated from high school here in Orange County, NC, and was doing everything he could to help support his mother and younger sibling after his father was in a car accident. Despite having no criminal record and a pending asylum case, he was separated from his family and sent out of state. Please help the family if you can. From Senator @jonahgarsonnc : “My office learned in the last hour that one of our Northern Orange community members, Isaac Gallegos (Orange High ‘25, Orange High Varsity Soccer), was separated from his mother and illegally detained by ICE during a routine asylum meeting on Thursday afternoon, and that he has since been transported to detention in Georgia. I have reached out to Isaac’s family, and my office is reaching out to all relevant federal offices and the school system, all of which have already been alerted.” Let’s bring Isaac home.
