essencemvmtco Yesterday, September 25th around 9am our beloved @tophoanh was detained by ICE at LAX Airport. Toph has been a dancer with Essence since the very beginning. She is an utter light to anyone who crosses her path, has contributed so much of that light to this team, and the people in the Midwest community. She now resides in California and is a student at UC Irvine, currently in the U.S. on a student visa. She is being held at a detention center 2 hours away from LA. We are working closely with legal services to ensure a safe return home. We have created a GoFundMe to raise funds to support legal services, bond costs and other legal needs while she is detained. Please share, repost & spread the word. As much as Toph is about the community, we need the community right now.
