Luis, a 17-year-old U.S. citizen, alleges that after observing an apprehension, ICE detained him and threatened to deport his family if he spoke out about it. The video of his encounter with agents went viral. Days later, his mother, Teresa De Jesus Ochoa Briceño, was deported.
