He is 2. Two years old. He should be giggling with his parents, asking to be picked up, or giving big bear hugs. Not confused as to why mom is suddenly not around.

Please help bring awareness to Eber's story. Marlyn had a pending asylum case and no criminal record. She repeatedly asked to leave with her children, and while ICE continuously told her something would be done, nothing ever did. They ultimately did not allow this mother to be reunited with her children prior to being deported.

As of April, the Brookings Institution put the total number of children affected by deportation at about 205,000, with the majority being US citizens. But the Brookings researchers now believe that more than 35,000 of the cases are similar to Eber’s, in which a child has been left with no parent at all.

Thank you to @itscaitlinhd for sharing Eber's story and that of so many others.
