Their tactic is to demoralize both the detainees and their family/friends to feel so hopeless and then right before you might get released, they pull a Hail Mary to try to intimidate you to sign the self-deport papers… going as far as driving them to the airport on the tarmac right in front of a plane. And it doesn’t end there, Masuma Khan has now suffering further health issues after being released that were at least partially caused by the massive stress she endured and the ptsd she now suffers from. But if that wasn’t bad enough, CA government is trying to kill the Masuma Khan Justice Act - SB995.
