"I'm not going to move, because this is illegal." On July 23, masked ICE agents stalked Eduardo Esparza – a father of 3 and independent contractor – from Home Depot to the house he was remodeling in West Seattle, where they threatened to break his window, forcibly removed him from his vehicle, and abducted him in front of his client in broad daylight. The homeowner stood in front of the unmarked ICE van, stating she did not believe this was a lawful deportation.

After being detained in Tacoma's NW Ice Detention Center (NWDC) – investigated for 3,500+ reports of abuse, inedible food, and dangerously unsanitary conditions – Eduardo is now being held in Texas.

Eduardo has no criminal record and was pursuing a legal pathway to permanent residence. His family is urgently raising money for legal fees to fight his case and reunite him with his wife and children. (link in bio)

We cannot remain stagnant or silent as mass deportations rip families apart. This racist assault on immigrants must be challenged. END ICE TERROR AND JAIL ALL KILLER ICE AGENTS. From Seattle to Houston to Maine – ICE OUT!

*the NWDC is now called the NWIPC – Northwest Ice Processing Center
