A woman seen screaming for help as two plainclothes ICE agents arrested her at SFO has been identified by her friends as a 38-year-old Iryna Gorb from Ukraine who’s lived in San Francisco for more than a decade as a cafe worker and photographer.

The DHS said Gorb entered the U.S. in 2010 on a visa that expired in 2011. Her friend Andy Eblin said she spoke to him from an ICE facility in California City on Thursday.

“This is a story about Iryna, but it’s a bigger story about the lack of humanity,” Eblin said. “It’s horrendous,” he said about seeing the footage.
