BREAKING: π¨π₯ Multiple federal immigration agents were filmed detaining a man in St. Charles, with witnesses alleging that an agent slammed the handcuffed manβs face into a stone wall while he was restrained.
The video also shows agents confronting a bystander who was recording from a public area, including chasing him, pushing him backward and pointing what appeared to be a taser in his direction.
The footage has renewed concerns over the use of force during immigration enforcement operations and the treatment of civilians documenting police activity.
Courts have generally recognized a First Amendment right to record law-enforcement officers performing public duties, provided the person filming does not interfere. The incident has sparked calls for an independent review, transparency and accountability. Share, repost!!! Brown lives matter!! π―π€βπ½
