After 20 years building a life in America, Albanian barber Besnik “Nik” Shembitrasi was deported back to Albania. 🇦🇱🇺🇸

Nik came to the U.S. in 2005, became a barber, built a family, married an American citizen, and became loved by his Illinois community. On May 17, 2026, ICE arrested him outside his home as he was leaving for work.
