Our newest report details information provided by people who have been detained at a temporary holding facility, called the Florence Staging Facility (FSF), which is located within the Florence Detention Center, an immigration detention center run by ICE in Florence, AZ.

People have described inhumane conditions inside FSF and housing units within the detention center. These include severe overcrowding, poor or intermittent access to medication and medical care, failure to provide accommodations for people with disabilities, lack of hygiene supplies, insufficient food that caused people noticeable weight loss, inability to reach deportation officers, no access to phones or tablets to communicate with legal services or family members, prolonged inability to launder clothing and bedding, and no access to outside recreation.
