Via @westmontanna Community activists have been livestreaming their encounters with 🧊 since last years raids began, but the Baldwin Park 3 are the first people to be tried and convicted for it!
The government KNOWINGLY used a false doxing charge to indict, arrest and publicly shame these women claiming that they had leaked the address of an ice agent, only to have it dropped when video evidence from the live stream showed it never happened.
They instead charged these women with conspiracy to dox and stalking and while one was acquitted of all charges the other two were found guilty of “cyberstalking” an ice agent.
Much like the cases of #prairieland8 if this conviction doesn’t get a positive ruling, it will heavily impact the way that people document ice in public!! Support all political prisoners while they continue to fight against this facist regime.
