oxnardusa Federal agents carried out an early morning raid Wednesday at the Oxnard home of Leo Martinez, an activist known for protesting ICE operations. Martinez gained national attention last year after his car was struck by an ICE agent and was detained for allegedly interfering with a federal operation. KEYT later reported that agents provided false statements during said encounter, confirmed by video evidence. The Ventura County residence was one of several locations across California where federal authorities executed search warrants, including in Oxnard, Thousand Oaks, San Bernardino, and Corona.
