At least three people working on a truck in Boyle Heights were detained by apparent federal agents Monday morning just steps away from an elementary school, according to rapid response teams.

Video shared with Unión del Barrio showed the incident near the corner of Verde and Tremont streets around 8:35 a.m.

The video, which appears to come from home surveillance, shows men working on a black pickup truck before a white sedan and a black SUV collide as agents rush out of the vehicles to detain them.

The operation happened around the corner from Santa Teresita School, a Catholic elementary school.
