Immigrant students and workers in Georgia are under attack — and the politicians who enabled this crisis will not save us.

Axel Archega Rios is an 18-year-old high school junior. After a routine traffic stop, ICE detained and deported him — part of a statewide surge made possible by HB1105 and 287(g) agreements that turn local police into ICE’s enforcement arm. Georgia now has one of the highest deportation rates in the country.

This coordinated attack on our communities will continue unless we organize to stop it.

We’ve already seen what happens when we fight back. Students at more than 170 Georgia schools walked out earlier this year, proving that collective action can shake the foundations of this system. Minneapolis showed it too, in a general strike that defeated Operation “Metro Surge.” We can do the same to protect our communities from ICE terror! Solo el pueblo salva al pueblo — only the people will save the people.
