Earlier this year, ICE illegally detained Sister Agnes*, a Catholic Nun, and held her in prison for months.

Part of an underground church in China, where Catholics face severe persecution for practicing their faith outside of state control, Sister Agnes ultimately won asylum in the United States and built a new life here with her religious community.

Then ICE detained her — and even after she won bond in court, they refused to let her family pay it.

This is happening more and more: people win their cases, but ICE keeps them locked up anyway.

We stepped in and fought back. Sister Agnes is finally home with her religious community.

But countless others remain trapped in detention. Help us keep fighting back against illegal ICE detention practices. Donate today at the link in our bio.
