Two children who are allegedly U.S. citizens were subjected to use of force by ICE agents in the Pueblo de Palmas neighborhood of Edinburg, Texas, according to reporting by independent journalist Nick Valencia.
A 16-year-old boy was punched in the face by a federal agent. A 14-year-old girl was allegedly grabbed around the neck by an agent during the incident. Both children are alleged to be U.S. citizens.
The incident took place in Hidalgo County in the Rio Grande Valley. ICE has not issued a public statement regarding the alleged use of force.
