"Hello, my name is Verónica. My partner Juan was detained on January 12 and was deported this March, leaving my 2 year old daughter and I to fend for ourselves. Juan was the primary breadwinner for our family and without him I am struggling to pay for rent, diapers, food, and everything we need to live. He was also helping send money back to Colombia to buy medicine for my 10 year old daughter who is living there with my mom awaiting an operation for her heart condition. Now I cannot continue saving for her surgery because we are barely meeting our needs. I am humbly asking for your help so my family can get through this very difficult time for us. Thank you.
