🚨 In less than ONE WEEK, two Venezuelan physicians have been detained in the United States — both legal alliens, both serving American communities.

I am Dr. Guarecuco, speaking on behalf of Médicos Unidos Venezuela, MUV-USA, an organization representing thousands of Venezuelan physicians in this country.

Dr.Bolivar's husband reached out to us with this message, and we must amplify it:

“I am asking, from the bottom of my heart, for the immediate release of my wife, Dr. Rubeliz Bolívar, and our daughter, Milena. My wife followed every legal step in her immigration process. She is not only a dedicated physician serving her community — she is a loving mother. Our daughter deserves to be safe at home, not in a detention center. No family should go through this, especially when everything was done the right way.”
This is not just one family’s story. This is happening to our colleagues. To our community.

We stand with Dr. Rubeliz Bolívar, Milena, and every Venezuelan physician who came to this country legally to serve and heal. Dr. Bolivar has an asylum pending (she was traveling precisely to her asylum interview appointment), her EAD is current and she is also on i485 for her husband approved EB-3.
