immigrationcoalition NINE LEFT BEHIND ICE has not stopped their violence. They are still separating families and destroying lives! During the week of March 23rd, 9 members of the Queens community were kidnapped by ICE. While in detention they felt they had no choice but to sign documents for "voluntary departure" back to Guatemala. They were members of their church's music ministry and had traveled together by van out of state to perform in a church event. On their return trip they were pulled over and everyone in the van was taken into custody, the van with all their musical instruments and belongings was left in the side of the road, deserted. They were the primary breadwinners for their families. They all left behind their spouses and young children who are devastated. These families are in urgent need of cash assistance to pay rent, as well as help with food and other necessities. Please give what you can and share this post.
