Gustavo was taken by ICE August 24,2025. After being locked away for 7 months he was finally granted bond but at the cost of $17,500.00

Tell us again that this is not a business. These families came here with nothing and worked hard for a better life. Many now own businesses only to be taken away by this Administration. They hate to see our gente succeed.

His sister Rosa the organizer of his GoFundMe says:
Hello, my name is Rosa, and I am raising funds for my brother Gustavo de la Paz’s legal expenses. Gustavo was detained by immigration agents on August 24, 2025, while working at Bubble Hand Car Wash in the city of Torrance. Gustavo is an essential member of his community, as well as to his family and friends. Gustavo is an elderly man and has several medical conditions, including high blood pressure, diabetes, and cirrhosis. We are raising funds to pay for legal expenses.
