Dr. Ezequiel Veliz, a Venezuelan award-winning resident physician in McAllen Texas, married to a US citizen, was wrongfully detained at the Sarita checkpoint while legally waiting for his work visa. with every single document in order and even while being cooperative and showing them all of his immigration documents.

He did everything right. Came legally. Worked legally. Waited legally. Has every document to prove it and he was still detained.

He is a doctor but mainly an amazing human who truly cares for his community. He is one of us. And he needs our voice TODAY. Please help us give him back his freedom and the life he worked so hard to build!
