I’m leading the CO Dem Delegation demanding answers from DHS after we learned of secret ICE holding cells across Colorado.

Holding vulnerable people in small rooms without proper facilities for days or weeks is unacceptable and inhumane. DHS must immediately explain how this happened and what they are doing to uphold basic standards of care. These are human beings. The treatment of immigrants under Trump’s direction will leave a shameful stain on our history.
