After 21 days in immigration detention, Adelso Bravo is back home with his family in Syracuse.
Bravo, a father of three and house painter from Guatemala, spoke about working to support his family, his experience in detention, and seeing immigration arrests happening to people simply trying to work.
“I understand they want to get the criminals out,” he said. “But when you see the people ICE is catching, it’s all just people who are working. So who are they really removing?”
