Oscar and Geraldine Polanco met in Los Angeles at church. They planned to build there lives in LA, but then he was detained at a green card appointment in October.
Geraldine, who is from Peru, saw her husband being taken away in handcuffs. Authorities said he would be deported to Guatemala, a country he has not lived in for 20 years.
