Texas teacher fired—for giving kids arts supplies for ICE protest.

Allowed students to cut up old cardboard box & use leftover paint to make sign.

He did not even leave classroom during the walkout—he stayed to chaperone kids who didn’t want to protest.

Fired mid-year instead of waiting until the end of the semester—so students will have to be taught by substitute teachers.

“A teacher’s number one goal is not to teach them where commas go, but it’s to teach young people to become well-rounded adults,” he said.
