This Mother (Marisol) and daughter were scared of the ICE RAIDS and hid in their home for 2 months. They survived off of food donated from the daughter’s school and community members. But after 2 months the food ran out and the Mother decided to go out and get food for her daughter. She prepared her daughter incase something happened by leaving documents she might need. Sadly she was caught and kidnapped by ICE. The daughter says it’s all her fault because her Mom wanted to feed her, says her mom didn’t eat so she could and her Mother was her everything. ICE wanted to find and detain the daughter because they say “families should be together.”
The Mother and a friend/activist said no. The Mother has a pending asylum case and hopes to get out.
