Luis Beltran Yanez-Cruz is the second person from NJ to die in ICE custody in less than a month. The first was Jean Wilson Brutus. Both were held at Delaney Hall. Jean Wilson Brutus was only in custody for a day when he died of what are so far unrevealued circumstances. Luis Beltran Yanez-Cruz was transferred to California before he passed away. Both were loved and mourned by their friends and family.
