elpasomatters A Guatemalan man illegally deported from El Paso has been returned to the U.S. after a federal judge ordered his reinstatement, saying ICE acted with “blatant lawlessness.” An immigration judge had barred his removal to his home country. The 33-year-old was returned from Guatemala City to El Paso on Thursday night, a day before the deadline set for his return. DHS officials previously told El Paso Matters that it intends to deport the man to a third country willing to accept him.
