syracusedotcom After years together and a joyful wedding in Clay, two SUNY Upstate hospital workers are now detained by ICE and could be deported to Cuba, the country they fled because being gay put their lives at risk. Last Wednesday, they went together to check in with ICE in Mattydale, expecting it to be their final step before a judge would officially allow them to stay. Instead, they were detained.
