With no other family in the United States, the boy’s mother’s former boss is now serving as his legal guardian.The mother says she fears ICE could take her son into custody or place him in detention. During an interview, the child described his experience in court and the legal process he is now facing.The boy and his mother currently have a pending asylum case. In the meantime, his guardian is still waiting for more information regarding the Department of Homeland Security’s request to deport him.
