BEMIDJI, Minn. (Valley News Live) - Workers at a Bemidji housing development were detained by federal agents Thursday, according to Mayor Jorge Prince.Prince confirmed the activity on social media Friday, saying several employees of a contractor working at Vista North were detained. Prince also says no requests were made of the Bemidji Police Department, and they did not coordinate or participate in any part of the operation. The mayor also noted that no additional information has been provided to the city at this time.A viewer who lives at the site told Valley News Live that the operation took place around 4:00-4:30 in the afternoon at Vista North and specifically mentioned ICE agents.
