She was out doing roofing work, earning an honest living and striving to build a better future for herself and her family. She wasn’t asking for handouts—she was working hard, just like so many others who dream of a better life. Two days ago, everything changed. She was detained in Minnesota and later transferred by ICE to South Dakota. Since that moment, our family has been living with fear, uncertainty, and heartbreak. We are now trying to raise $10,000 to cover the legal expenses needed to give her the opportunity to defend her case and be reunited with the people who love her.
