JULIANA PAZ’s Post 4mo My aunt Tania Cordova was detained by ICE on April 15, 2026, while simply trying to buy plants for her garden. She has been transferred to a detention center in Louisiana, and the situation is dire. Tania has lived in the U.S. for nearly 40 years, building a life and community here. As a transgender woman, she faces significant risks, and the thought of her being deported to Guatemala or any other country is terrifying for us.
