LEBANON, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Tennessee Immigrant & Refugee Rights Coalition is condemning the arrests outside of a Middle Tennessee courthouse in March.“Yesterday, more people were arrested at the Wilson County Courthouse in a troubling and escalating pattern of ICE detentions of people who have come to Middle Tennessee state courts in good faith to respond to traffic tickets,” TIRRC said. The group states that many of the arrestees have pending immigration applications and aren’t subject to immediate removal.Previous: Robertson County ICE courthouse arrests spark protestMore: ICE arrests multiple people at Robertson County courthouse during traffic courtcommentsWSMV4 has reached out for comment from ICE officials and hasn’t received a response by the time of this article’s publication. The Wilson County Sheriff’s Office did release the following statement:Copyright 2025 WSMV.
