Less than a week after Liam Conejo Ramos and his father Adrian Conejo Arias returned home from a detention facility in Texas, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has filed a motion to end asylum claims for the family and expedite deportation proceedings. The family’s lawyer described the motion as “retaliatory,” according to MPR News. “The government is moving many pieces, it’s doing everything possible to do us harm, so that they’ll probably deport us. We live with that fear, too,” Adrian Conejo Arias told MPR. Far-right influencer Jake Lang has been arrested in St. Paul for destroying an ice sculpture in front of the Minnesota State Capitol. Lang filmed himself kicking the letters out of PROSECUTE ICE so the sculpture spelled PRO ICE. “Mr. Lang was arrested without incident and brought to the Ramsey County Jail to be booked for suspicion of criminal damage to property,” the Minnesota State Patrol told Bring Me the News. On Thursday morning masked federal officers – some of whom had “DHS” on their uniforms — broke into a south Minneapolis apartment complex and arrested an individual for cyberstalking, according to Sahan Journal. “According to a criminal complaint filed Tuesday and unsealed Thursday, [Kyle] Wagner used his social media accounts to dox a ‘pro-ICE individual’ … The complaint also cites several inflammatory social media posts Wagner allegedly made against U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), though it does not charge Wagner with any crime beyond cyberstalking and interstate communications, a common charge in federal cases.” On Thursday morning federal immigration officials were engaged in a vehicle pursuit to stop a car and arrest its passenger when the driver of the car crashed into a retaining wall near Robbinsdale City Hall, Bring Me the News reports. “At the scene, [police] officers found the car unoccupied. At the same time, they received a report that a woman was inside City Hall experiencing a ‘very high level of anxiety.'” She was later identified as the driver of the car and driven home by the city’s police department.
