(WZTV) — Five men, including three who are in the U.S. illegally and are from Cuba, were arrested in a human trafficking investigation in Sumner County.All five men were charged with promoting prostitution and booked into the Sumner County Jail. Nine people were identified as possible victims during the investigation and were offered services through a local victim services organization.On June 12, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement issued immigration detainers for three of the men arrested — Alinson Guerrero-Ramirez, Bryan Duany Rodriguez-Pena and Lazaro Rodriguez-Santos. In November 2021, an agent encountered Rodriguez-Santos near Yuma, Arizona. ICE said Guerrero-Ramirez entered the U.S. illegally in 2023 at the Brownsville, Texas, port of entry and was paroled into the country under the Biden-era catch-and-release policy.The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation led the operation on June 12 with assistance from several agencies, including the Sumner County Sheriff's Office, the Hendersonville Police Department, Homeland Security Investigations Nashville and the Internal Revenue Service.Anyone with information about crimes or suspicious activity can call 866-347-2423 or complete an online tip form.
