(SBG San Antonio)SAN ANTONIO - A local high school student who missed the end of his sophomore year while detained at the Dilley immigration detention center is expected to be released with his father.In a statement issued in Washington, D.C., U.S. Rep. Joaquin Castro, D-San Antonio, said Alejandro and his father, Jairo, “will be released from the Dilley trailer prison tomorrow.”“Great news! Alejandro and his dad Jairo will be released from the Dilley trailer prison tomorrow,” Castro said. “Alejandro missed his last days of 10th grade at Churchill High School and should have never been locked up. Thanks to all who pushed for their release. Keep speaking up, your voice is making a difference!”Castro’s office said the congressman met with Alejandro and Jairo during an inspection of the Dilley detention center on May 26.
