(FOX26) — Police arrested two men accused of impersonating Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at various businesses on Wednesday in Fresno.Community members reported that the men were harassing customers at eleven different locations, dressed in black tactical vests with patches resembling the words "Police" and "ICE."RELATED | Fake DOGE workers try to scam San Francisco City HallOfficers found the two men outside of a business in the River Park shopping center. They said the men had been visiting businesses pretending to be federal immigration officials and filming their interactions to post on social media.At one business, the men claimed to be conducting an investigation and requested to see specific business documents. Both individuals were arrested for the misdemeanor crimes of impersonating a police officer, under PC 538d(a). They were cited and released."As their actions were done simply to gain attention on their personal social media pages, we will not be releasing their names or other information," the Fresno Police Department said.
