BUFFALO — Police found a nearly blind refugee dead on a city street Tuesday, reportedly after he had been released by U.S. Border Patrol agents five miles from his home.Nurul Amin Shah Alam, 56, a refugee from Burma, had been missing since Feb. 19, according to The Investigative Post, when he was released from a holding cell in Erie County. The Guardian reports Shah Alam was being held on charges of assault, trespassing and possession of a weapon.
