(Español abajo) Jennifer’s world was turned upside down in January when her husband, Eduardo, was detained by ICE while driving home from work with a coworker. Within a week, Eduardo was deported back to Honduras, leaving Jennifer alone to care for their five young children, ranging in age from just 18 months to 12 years old. Since then, this family has been doing everything they can to survive. With the support of their church community and the few hours Jennifer is able to work each week while caring for her children, they have managed to get by — but now they are facing an urgent financial crisis. The burden of providing food, housing, utilities, and basic necessities for all five of her children completely on her own has caught up to Jennifer. Upcoming bills are quickly piling up, and the family is in desperate need of support to remain stable during this incredibly difficult season.
