DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - Eight people were arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement at two Davenport restaurants. ICE officials said the people were arrested on April 22 as part of an ongoing investigation into immigration violations and other related offenses. Scott County Sheriff Tim Lane said the operations were conducted at Izumi and Jiang’s Hot Pot & BBQ restaurants.Lane said ICE did not contact the sheriff’s office before coming to the area.The Davenport Police Department said it was not contacted before the operation but was notified by federal authorities as it began.Officials did not say where those arrested are being held.Copyright 2026 KWQC.
