Photo Credit: X/ERO Philadelphia @erophiladelphia 06/15/2026 10:51 a.m. Fernando Rivas, a Dominican national living in the United States illegally, was taken into custody by officers with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's Enforcement and Removal Operations Philadelphia field office during a targeted enforcement action in Harrisburg on Wednesday, June 11, according to ICE.Rivas was previously convicted in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on two counts of Hobbs Act robbery conspiracy and conspiracy to distribute cocaine, ICE said.Officials did not release additional details about the Harrisburg operation or Rivas' prior criminal case.Rivas remains in ICE custody pending further immigration proceedings, according to the agency.
