Then, on June 2, seven employees on their way to work at a Lake Placid restaurant were stopped and detained. The organization is unaware of any local, county, or state law enforcement agencies being involved in either instance.Their June 2 post read in part, "NCIA has been in communication with the restaurant owners and community members and is working to support the individuals who were detained, as well as their families, coworkers, and loved ones.
