Daniel Tirado Pantoja, Jose Trinidad Rojas and Victor Salgado were handcuffed and confined in an ICE processing center in Conroe after witnessing an ICE agent shoot and kill Lorenzo Salgado Araujo in Magnolia Park on Tuesday.They were passengers in Salgado's van when ICE agents began chasing the vehicle in unmarked SUVs with no sirens or cameras to record the encounter, according to Democratic U.S. Rep. Sylvia Garcia, who represents the area. He was 43 at the time of his arrest and has a birthday this month, she said.He's been married for 12 years and has a teenage son who's a U.S. citizen. Degollado called her stepfather a great person with a "big heart for everyone."She said Tirado spoke to his wife Wednesday morning for the first time since his arrest. "He just sounds really sad," Degollado said on Wednesday. "He spoke to my mom. They were both crying, and my mom was telling him it's going to be OK, that we're going to do whatever we can to help him out."Jose Trinidad RojasJose Rojas is a 51-year-old Mexican citizen who has lived in the U.S. for decades, the Associated Press reported. He's also a construction worker.Balderas-Ibarra represents him as well as Tirado.Victor SalgadoVictor Salgado is Lorenzo's younger brother and was among the construction workers in the van at the time of the shooting.The 44-year-old was in the passenger seat at the time, the Washington Post reported.
