My brother Fernando is a hardworking, honest person who has always done his best to build a stable life here in the United States. He came to this country when he was 3 years old with our parents, grew up here, studied here, and has worked consistently to support himself and our family. In May 13th, he was traveling to Atlanta for work for the company he is employed with when he was detained by ICE in North Carolina and took him to Georgia which is far away from home. This situation has placed a heavy emotional and financial burden on our family. We are now facing significant expenses, including legal fees, travel costs to stay in contact with him and support him, and basic living expenses while he is unable to work. We are doing everything we can to support him during this difficult time, but we cannot do it alone. Any help, no matter the amount, means more to us than words can express.
